Walter Kiser was a member of the Wonderland Way group in Southern Indiana. From 1934 to 1942, he made sketches of old buildings and wrote about their history for the Louisville Times newspaper. "The Neighborhood Sketches" appeared in the Tuesday issue.

More about his life and work can be found in John David Myles' new book Walter H. Kiser’s Neighborhood Sketches Revisited, which can be purchased through our bookstore.
